The MC Pro 2400 is an accurate non-contact moisture meter that is easy to commission in cross-feeding lines. It is approved to EN14080/EN15497 and has an accuracy that is twice the requirements. Innovative technology minimizes the need for calibration, takes into account the wood’s deformation and temperature.
The MC Pro 2400 uses an innovative pulse technology for multiple measurements as a board passes over the non-contact sensors. Several sensors can be mounted so that the moisture content of the wood can be determined along the entire piece of wood to determine the delivery moisture content accurately and to identify wet parts so that such wood can be sorted out or trimmed.
